Alastair Huntley 

Alastair Huntley is an AmeriCorps alumnus and a believer in harm reduction.  Alastair has also spent the last 5 years working on both studio and independent productions across New England. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Studies in War and Peace with honors from Norwich University. In 2018, he received the Vermonter Fellowship through the Stowe Story Labs for his feature-length screenplay, Half Shell.

 

The short story adaptation of Half Shell was accepted into the Yale Writers’ Workshop and was also a finalist for the Wingless Dreamer Literary Journal Cinematic Short Story Contest. It was then published in 2020. Half Shell is currently in development as an animated short drama Alastair is producing and directing.

 

Alastair's Op-Eds have been featured in The New Hampshire Union Leader as well as The Huntington News, and his poetry has been featured in the Cosmonauts Avenue Literary Journal and on the LKMDS Podcast.
